Moving...

Hola! So these past few weekends I've been moving, and Rich too. About 2 weeks ago now, Rich moved into a new place and this past weekend, I got to move some of my stuff down there too. I love our little apartment! I never really realized how much stuff I have so when we both got stuff in there, it was amazing how much room it took up! All of his stuff is there, but I still have stuff up here in Wilsonville. I keep going through stuff and trowing more things away. I know it will all fit, it's just a matter of finding a place for it while we go through all the other stuff.

Last weekend, we decided to rearrange the furniture. I love doing this. I used to rearrange my room like once a week, so I was excited. The only problem is that the couch weights like 200 pounds so it's easier to think about it before just moving it around. After trying things one way, it was getting to be tight corners and we weren't sure how it was all goin to fit. After a little bit of a joke we ended up moving the furniture around and it worked great. So we have a living room set up! Now it's just putting things away that we have left to do...and try to figue out where to put the rest of my stuff! We'll see.

RSVPs

I just wanted to remind you all that June 20th is this Friday. I've gotten quite a few RSVPs, but I'm still missing some too. Just let us know if you can or can't come. Either way it is fine, we just need to know how many tables to get and if you don't respond, there might be some seating issues. Shower #2

So about a week ago now, Joann gave me a Pampered Chef Bridal Shower. It was really fun and now Rich and I have lots of great cooking tools to start off our kitchen! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for showing up, it was great to see you all. Here are a couple pictures of what my apron looked like once everyone was finished. I love it! Oh yeah, and in the pictures you can see my new haircut. I just got it done this afternoon!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that if you are coming from out of town and you don't already have a place to stay, I can give you a few suggestions. As far as closeness to the wedding site, there are hotels in Wilsonville and Woodburn. If you would rather stay closer to someone you know, you will probably have to get in touch with them to see what hotels, etc. would be best.

- Take I-5 south until Oregon Exit #282A (Hubbard/Canby)
- Merge onto Hubbard Cutoff Rd NE
- Turn left at Arndt Rd NE
- Turn right at S Arndt Rd
- Turn right at S Barlow Rd
- 29510 S Barlow Rd is on the left (sign says Postlewait's)

- Turn right at Newberg Hwy/OR-214 Continue to follow OR-214

Bridal Shower

This past weekend I went down to Medford for my first bridal shower. I had so much fun seeing people I haven't seen in a long time. We played some fun games, and by we I really me me. You see, Meghan decided that it would be more fun if I played some games by myself and everyone else gets to watch. I guess it turned out fine because we all seemed to have a good time. One game involved me being blindfolded and then given a bag full of clothes which I had to then put on where I thought they were supposed to go... Here's how it went





Well, as you can see...I was doing pretty well to start out. I got a little confused with the red braided wig. I thought that it was a scarf so it went around my neck... oh well.








So here I am...a little farther along in the game. I had a little trouble with the apron. I thought for sure it was another blindfold, so I put it on my head...where all blindfolds should go.









This is what I ended up looking like when the game was all finished. I think that overall, it was fairly successful.









Now this wasn't the only game at the party...next I had to answer questions that Rich had answered in an email. Any time we didn't match on our answers, I had to chew a piece of bubbleyum bubble gum. I thought that I was doing pretty good, but I did have to put 6 pieces in. I'm glad that there weren't any more questions, because people were beginning to think I was going to choke. Here's a picture of what I looked like...with all 6 pieces.



Overall, I thought that this was a great shower. Thanks to everyone that could make it, and if you couldn't...now you're caught up on all the activities. Hope to see you all soon. Only 38 days left!

Dress

So today I get to go put my dress back on. I'm getting it fitted and I'm so excited. I got it a while back and have just been waiting for it to arrive so I can get it fitted and ready to go. I have everything ready to go so that I just have to grab it and get down to the shop to put it on. Oh I'm so excited.
